The Daily PWN 83: Geo-Defense
Today we’re discussing Geo-Defense for iPod Touch and the iPhone. This app is a tower defense game with a lot in common with hundreds of other games in the genre. The goal is to set up turrets and towers to protect your base at the end of a winding road. Enemies head down the road in intervals and your job is to set up a good enough defense to kill off the enemies before they reach their target.
Geo-Defense has amazing sounds and big explosions. It’s simple and easy to understand. The game reminds me of Tron and not in a bad way. One very positive aspect is once you leave the game using the home button, your place is saved and picked up when you load it back up. This makes Geo-Defense a solid app for use when you just need to kill a few minutes.
