Nintendo has put out another DS just in time for Mothers Day that gives the impression of being targeted towards a stereotypical modern mother but may yet hold some appeal for many outside of that category as well. The vibrant green color is enough to turn a few heads and attract eyes while you’re out and about but what are you getting with this bundle? Here is the rundown.

You migt notice that this new offering in the Nintendo DS Lite™ line is not one of the newer DSi models. This might be a move to keep the overall sale price down as it is being released one week before Mother’s Day and would appear to be targeted as a gift for mothers. The bundle is set for release May 3, 2009 at a price of around $159.99 in both Canada and the US.
