iPhone App Felony in Las Vegas Casinos
The Gaming Control Board has issued a warning to casinos in Las Vegas giving strong caution in response to an application called iBlackjack on the iPhone and iPod Touch. This application is designed to make card counting easy and can operate while the screen is off on the device making it more difficult to detect.
In Nevada, it is legal to count cards if you happen to have the mental capacity to do so. This is countered by adding more decks to the game in order to throw off the count and make it extremely difficult for a human mind to keep up with. This is where a card counting program comes in handy. With it, counting cards during a game of blackjack is made simple and easy for anyone willing to take the time to learn the positions of the keys used to track deals.
Before you jump for joy and rush to download this application, keep in mind that possession of a device with iBlackjack or any other card counting software installed with a perceived attempt to use it could land you in Nevada jail facing felony charges for violation of NRS 465.075 and ruin your entire vacation.
